Project Status
November 8, 2023: The planning team briefed the City Council and Planning Commission on the community survey results, other public input, and the results of preliminary analyses for the plan. Next steps include conducting several focus interviews and completing preliminary analyses.
Summer 2023: The planning team has been working closely with staff to develop a statistically valid survey that will be sent to randomly selected households throughout the city.
May 22, 2023: The planning team hosted a public input booth at the Love Where You Live (LWYL) Event event at Independence Park.
May 2023: A tour of major city parks was held with city staff and the planning team. The project website and Social Pinpoint online map were launched. The planning team has started to compile data and review existing documentation.
April 2023: The planning team met with city staff to kick off the project.
